CCSD Environmental Services ensures that all schools and district facilities across 8,061 square miles of Clark County, Nevada remain safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant. Our team manages indoor air and water quality, hazardous materials and chemical safety, pest management, underground storage tanks, and district‑wide environmental investigations and complaint resolution. We meet or exceed federal, state, and local standards to protect the people who learn and work in our buildings.

We conduct indoor air quality investigations and oversee asbestos, lead‑based paint, and mold assessments, including AHERA compliance and annual notifications.
We perform routine and special water quality testing, support discoloration troubleshooting, and provide clear flushing guidance for school sites.
We manage site‑specific chemical inventories via CHIMERA and provide hazardous and universal waste pickup (including sharps disposal).
We coordinate inspections, permitting, and reporting to ensure CCSD activities comply with federal, state, and local environmental health and safety laws.
